Ok so i see these sites that got tons of themes for linux, but how do these people make the themes?i tried googling it and didnt find anything. Maybe im just not looking properly. Does anyone know how to make themes for linux?more specifically for the gnome environment/ubuntu

Kaspersky internet security works great as an av anf firewall in one. but if i were to choose for a stand alone firewall id say Outpost. It really is one hack of a good firewall

when i used to use windows i used a program called scotty winpatrol or somthing like that, i forgot the name but its quite a handy little app. Maybe you could try that

OOOHHHKAAAAY i suggest you scroll up and read exactly what i meant, or ddnt you understand it? i know whats wifi and wlan and i know how to set up a router so that i can get internet through my wifi. Im asking how to set up a network like a lan so that i can access other computers shares etc, just like a normal wired lan. I cant leave it as default settings coz the computers just get internet but cant see each other, im guessing you knew that already

Ok im using linux(Ubuntu) so let me get this straight. I know you can click on the network options in the system tray then click manual cofigurations then set up the Lan's properties after which you can click places and click network and youll see the network. Am i right?? Well i do this for my wireless connection and it doesnt work i dont see the other computers, and yes i did setup the other computers. I even try to connect to it like this ///192.*.*.* and it doesnt work. I try to set it up for DHCP and it still doesnt work. What am i doing wrong?

Ok so we all know how to setup a local area network in linux or windows etc. And we all know how to share files and see the computers on a network built. My question is, is it possible to build a network like a lan but wirelessly. Dont get me wrong, im not talking about adhoc connections. Im talking about one central wireless access point and a bunch of wireless devices connected to it, that allows file sharing and allows you to see the see the other devices on the network. Is it possible? If it is how would one go about doing this, in a windows but preferably a linux environment?

i really dont see why they should get EVERYONES credentials, since seeing they are up to sue Google and Youtube. If they get everyone thats uploading illegal videos what are they going to do next??sue all the people?? :lol: Why dont they just sue Youtube, Google because youtube is the one that should have had a restriction for video content uploading. Besides that not everybody uploads videos that are illegal so i dont see why thy need everyones details. The way i see it Viacom shouldnt even win the case, because if you think about it why didnt they bring this up the time youtube started??I feel viacom waited for Youtube to grow into what it is today before they made their move....Anyhoo i dont use the service so i dont care who gets sued haha

DAMNIT im like REALLY late i know i get times im REALLY bored so what the hack im in. Ive already started lol. Ok i rebuild computers every day, i overclocked a friends computer, i dumped 10 computers of people i dont know lol its my lab so that was easy but i didnt use switchblade i used a different usb way so does that count?? ok i done some war driving about a week ago and picked up some realy unsecure waps lol talk about security breaching.... I dont suppose passing a comptia exam counts?? lol lectured a civilian even though it was really awkward, im busy on quadbooting so i got vista and ubuntu so far so i guess that gets me points. got peoples passwords but it was for a chatting service on mobile phones but its still social engineering does that count?? Ok so all in all how many points do i get??
