Call them up, say there's been an error you've got multiple items. They'll say 'You have made multiple orders, wtf?' and you'll be like 'Wtf, thats not right'. They'll put it down to a computer error and maybe ask for the stuff back - you're in the clear.

Its not exactly hacking, its not breach of a computer system. You just visited publicly avaliable web pages and accepted an offer given to you by a company. You could say for example you got sent some links in an email and followed them, then you saw you had some free prizes and of course accepted them. If anything this falls under company stupidity, not your fault at all.

Hi all, I have looked around google with little joy. Looking for advice and personal experience. I'm after a 'standalone' virus scanner that does not require an install to be able to scan target files for common infections. For example an .exe that I could store on a flash drive and use to scan files/folders for threats without needing to install the software onto the machine. I am aware of websites like virustotal that scan files for infections but the dis-advantage of this is a suspectedly infected system would be quarenteened and removed from the internet (If I were checking it) so this is not really a viable option. I'm pretty sure you'd need a software suite such as Microsoft Visual Studio to compile your code into executables, as far as I'm aware you can only 'compile'/save to .vbs(VisualBasicScript) scripts with free software.

It's possible that the person has a worm on her computer and is using it to transfer files, but in that case she'd have to have naked pictures of herself on her computer, either that or she'd have to have uploaded naked pictures to the internet. As far as loosing your job goes; I don't know where an attacker would put pictures of a girl naked to attract enough attention to get her fired from her job IRL. I'm pretty sure you can't loose your job for having your PC infected with a virus. If she did get fired for it then simple sue the employer for un-fair dismissal. Just cut off contact with the 'attacker' before it gets out of control, format the PC, install some decent AV software & tell her to create a new screen name.

I'm learning VB .net as my first language, it's pretty simple to get the hang of and you can put together some really good apps with it (App suites such as Net tools are put together with VB). Then if you're interested further you can move onto a more advanced language like C#/C++

Can anyone recommend a guide for SSH tunneling including server-side requirements/configuration? When ever I try a SSH tunnel it fails epicly (Using Putty).

Get her to change her AIM screen name and if she's really worried about her privacy format her PC & tell her not to post pictures on public networking sites in the future. Getting the Police involved is probably over the top at this point, seems like some bored kid to me.

I've run my (stock) AAOne on XP and I found it to be a little slughish mainly when opening/closing applications. I can't comment on gaming!

It was a great movie, but it went too far with A ) taking over an F-22 (Wtf?) and B ) an F-22's engine is used for taking off/landing in confined spaces, the jets can't actually maneuver like they are shown in the movie!
