  1. Hah, keep looking.

  2. @ Infiltrator && digip I think I have seen something like this in a post just recently where someone had to set their clock forward a hour to get a connection to .onion sites... Any idea why this keeps occurring? I use the portable all the time and I have never had a problem with changing the time.

You mean you are trying to capture the stored wifi keys that the computer keeps of networks it is familiar with? I would think it could be possible to exploit a computer which is connected to your network somehow and gain control of it to get the stored keys which the computer has already associated with, but I doubt it is going to be as simple as buying a certain router and installing some software. The process most likely isn't automated into a one click "hacker" button.
  4. You could always run BT as a virtual machine. I know it's not the same but if the problem is persistent and you cant change it withought having to reinstall the windows partition then your best bet might just be a VM.
  5. Hes right. Make sure you don't spend too much time on it, if time is a issue. You could probably forget the config file and start new, in the time it would take you to get the password for the admin account with that limit on attempts.
  6. I'm not sure, yeah I think Darren said in the show he was doing like 16dbi on his yagi. If it a matter of conductivity, maybe somehow the mounting brackets etc are interfering with the tuning of the antenna. It could be that it's not operating on the 802.11 b/g frequencies. I'm going to try and get a hold of a yagi antenna to play around with it, got any suggestions?
  7. Sounds good, it's an interesting idea to focus on the human vuln. Usually people develop software to safeguard them from having to deal with things like phishing. I'll try it out a little bit later.
  8. Are you running unlocker as system admin?
  9. PCI or PCIe? To say one is much better than another in my opinion is not correct, it's more of choosing a card that is either compatible with or supports the things you want to do with it. For example, do you need a card that can do wireless B/G/N? Or does the card need to support monitor mode? Maybe even a card that had 2 antennas one for a directional yagi and a omni directional? Or maybe you want to check on if the chipset supports packet injection... All things considered you can pick a good card, check out newegg.com and look at some of the reviews and that will give you a place to start. Then head over to http://www.aircrack-ng.org/doku.php?id=compatibility_drivers&DokuWiki=a87856f50282e13f10f5453658bc640d#compatibility and check for compatibility for mon0 and injection, because if your using bt5 im guessing you'll want those... Good luck
  10. It's an interesting idea, are you going to develop it open source? My main question is once you do identify the "weakest" link, what are you going to do with him? Educate him? Fire him, in a corporate world? How does one patch the human vulnerability.
  11. Do you know what kind of model antenna Darren was using on the show?
  12. You do realize no one here is going to help you anymore? You are wasting your time, they have provided adaquate information. If you would just follow their links and learn something instead of repeatedly asking for someones hand to hold then you might get somewhere.
  13. What exact command are you using to drop the card into monitor mode? What is the output of iwconfig?

    Some Questions

Might not want to look into developing your own operating system to start out. Maybe start by developing for OS's already existing and get a feel for it before you try to make your own operating system. There are already OS's out there made out of users feedback/needs, make sure your not making something that already exists.
