  6. What's your PC's specs?

This is a slightly older one of my monitors, Yay for triple!
  7. Anonymous reverse shell

How about using Domain Fronting? You can connect your C&C Server to a VPN with port forwarding and then let the shell connec to that port on the vpn side which will then be forwarded to your C&C... in theory.

  10. [RELEASE] WiFi Pineapple Firmware v2.0.2

Thanks Sebkinne !! Appreciate the hard work you put into these releases.
  11. Not one of the hak5 products is working properly

In the industry, this is called "User Error".
  12. Not one of the hak5 products is working properly

That's not how it works. You can bet your ass that if you tell a police officer that you're trying to hack one of the "free public" computers at the library, they'll tell you to stop, or arrest you.
  13. Fire up an SSH connection to the pineapple. Then use OPKG to firste update the repos. and then install the software you want to install. Like this: # For the Pineapple NANO opkg update opkg install libnet0 libnet1 libnet-1.2.x libnids --dest sd # For the Pineapple TETRA opkg update opkg install libnet0 libnet1 libnet-1.2.x libnids To search for something, you need to first update. Then you can go like this: opkg update opkg list | grep "search_term_here" # Example opkg list | grep "libnids"
  14. [RELEASE] WiFi Pineapple Firmware v2.0.2

Hi Sebkinne, Newbie here, can you point me to where and how I would I install the libnet1, libnids and libnet0? TIA
  15. Not one of the hak5 products is working properly

Everything I see about this has me thinking the following. The products work fine. OP doesn't know how to use them, or where to use them, and their comments regarding that it's fine in a Library etc proves it.
  16. Does not keep Timezones

Yes, I am aware of the drop down. I select Eastern, click on save and it still depicts European time zone.
  17. Unable to order from South Africa

Hi Sebkinne, Many thanks for your prompt response, however I am trully disappointed that you are not shipping to South Africa. Is there any other *legitimate* method of buying Hak5 products? Furthermore, do you have any insight as to when you will begin shipping to South Africa?
  18. Hey @Master Luc, if you don't need to route all the traffic at a lower level you could simply use SSH to create a quick and dirty SOCKS5 proxy. Say your PS'' OpenVPN IP is, from your laptop you could do something like: ssh -f -D root@ -p 22 -N -q This simply creates background SSH connection (-f) binding local port 2222 (-D to user root at port 22 (root@ -p 22) without executing any other commands (-N) and without printing debug informations/errors (-q). In your Firefox configuration you can now use localhost port 2222 as a SOCKS5 proxy and route all traffic through your home connection. Note that by using the proxy will listen on your every available interface, meaning you can use your laptop as a gateway for other devices in your LAN (a Smart TV, another laptop, etc...). If you don't need to do that however I advise you to use, as listening on every interface is a security risk.
  19. What's your PC's specs?

@bored369 lookes like a drone command center hah. Rad!!
  20. Anonymous reverse shell

Thanks for your replies! Reverse shell anonymity sounds pretty complicated, so is there another way to take control of victims machine that could be more anonymous than reverse shell? For example is it possible to set victims machine as “server” and then connect to it through tor or VPN? Does anyone have any idea?

  26. Unable to order from South Africa

Hi there, Unfortunately we have stopped shipping to South Africa for now. I'll make sure the shop team updates the website and removes SA from the list. I cannot elaborate further on why as I don't handle Shop related issues. You should be able to pay using PayPal, Amazon Pay, Bitcoin, Debit, and credit cards (prepaid ones are accepted too). My apologies for the inconvenience.
  27. Best way to stay secure?

That isn't an answer to the question. Are you worried about getting malware on your machine, being watched by your ISP, being attacked back if you attack someone else, getting caught doing something illegal? An important skill in the security industry is being able to define threats and risks. Who or what is a threat to you, what is the risk from the threat? During the period when the guys from Anonymous were getting arrested, we got a lot of people asking how they could hide from the NSA as they saw them as a threat. The reality for the vast majority of them was that the NSA is absolutely no risk to them as all they were doing was the odd bit of piracy and surfing porn that they didn't want their parents to know about. Those two activities warrant completely different defenses to defending against the NSA. If you want to learn and stay "safe", stay local. Build yourself a lab with vulnerable apps like DVWA, Metasploitable and other similar machines. You can also build your own machines, get old Linux distros and install known vulnerable apps. You'll learn a lot more doing all this than just randomly throwing tools against stuff online. You don't need to do trawling dodgy sites, all the info you need is available through legitimate sources. Use the same commonsense that you would use doing anything online and you'll be fine, browse shady websites and download random stuff from untrusted sources then you'll get screwed.
