Hello: I'm experiencing this same issue. Generally not one to post on message boards but after going over and over all the steps and spending hours trying to get this device to flash correctly I'm throwing in the towel. Getting "invalid hex file syntax" on every hex, every time, numerous machines, regardless of program.bat location. Has anyone else been able to identify what causes this issue or found a resolution? Do I assume I received a bad device? Any feedback/assistance at all is greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
