  1. Currently playing with this, working from the howtoinstall. I was unable to get twisted-web I'm also having problems with cd /pentest/exploits/set/ && python install.py cd /pentest/wireless/airdrop-ng/ && python install.py I'm getting "python: can't open file 'install.py': [Errno 2] no such file or directory" are you sure you don't mean setup.py? It looks like everything was already installed in BT5.
  2. Anyone have/know of a GPS program, that does something similar to what a car GPS would? Free and/or open source would be nice but I'm looking for suggestions. Got this GPS to use for wardriving, might as well use it for navigation.
  3. Got the parts Darren listed but I don't see which lead to attach to red or black?
  4. I'm working on a script to notify users of a system outage or emergency. Rather than rely on email, I want the users to receive a popup message to increase the chances they see it. I have about 700 workstations to best target the message to the appropriate users an IP range would be the best method, I think. The majority of the systems are Windows Vista. Terminal Services are disabled by group policy, and I can not enable them to allow for the use of the MSG command. Optimally this would be something that could be placed on shared drive space that any user with appropriate permissions to the location could launch, not necessary domain/workstation administrative rights. Any direction would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
  5. No tethering on iPhone = less Jasager fun. It is AT&T that prevents the tethering, from apple's site it is a supported feature if your carrier supports it...
  6. I'm not sure how to flash other devices. You'll have to check out the OpenWRT site or some other threads.
  7. When you are testing this, is the network your target is a member of also accessible? It may have a stronger signal and the Jasager doesn't pick it up before it joins the first AP. Setup your target laptop to join a network, then turn off that laptop and AP, turn on the Jasager, then turn on the target and see if it associates with the Jasager.
  8. You will want to turn karma on, and switch to blacklist mode.
  9. I'd be interested to see your progress on the upside down. It is on my list of things to play with.
  10. I just got a 17" Macbook pro and I'm very pleased with it. Got VMWare Fusion, it's got the horse power to run at least 4 VMs including backtrack. Only downside is they are darn expensive.
  11. What is the MITM Fun VM you have, it sounds... fun :-)
  12. Encrypted Soldier: ICS = Internet Connection Sharing. It is not necessary, but if you want to become the man in the middle you will want to serve your 'victims' some bandwidth from something. Jakub Steps 2: You are setting those settings from the web interface on the Jasagar. So you will likely start from http://192.168.1.1 then navigate to the network settings and find those settings there. Steps 3-4 This is done on your computer. So if you followed those settings exactly and are on a windows system you will go to your network interface settings on your computer and change the TCP/IP information to match the instructions. IP: 10.110.0.1 MASK: 255.255.255.0 no gateway. Those steps are not necessary to use the Jasager, only if you want to put your 'customers' on a different subnet, which I prefer to do to easily read capture traffic. I don't have access to a Jasager at the moment.
  13. You need to assign your Ethernet interface a static IP address, other than 192.168.1.1 which is what the Fon is. The Fon isn't assigning DHCP from eth0. Check my tutorial, should work almost the same for the FON.
