Bash Bunny seems not to work with Windows 8.1 missing drivers or something else, Device Manager not showing COM port / Serial, only shows it as other device CDC Serial tried update driver to bash bunny and does not find drivers.

Which switch position are you talking about?

Try creating a payload on switch 1 or 2 with the following text:

ATTACKMODE SERIAL

Then check if Windows assigns a COM port to the bunny. You can check with the device manager or with the following command in the command prompt:

mode

Same issue as OS even after adding "ATTACKMODE SERIAL" to payload.txt file for switch2 (and being in position 2)

Launch an elevated CMD prompt (run as Admin)

  1. Type in:
    bcdedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS & bcdedit /set testsigning on
    and press the ENTER key
  2. Try the install again

OR

  1. Hold the shift key and reboot the computer
  2. Click ADVANCED STARTUP and let it reboot
  3. After boot, click on ADVANCED OPTIONS > STARTUP SETTINGS
  4. Then select DISABLE DRIVER SIGNATURE ENFORCEMENT from the list (#7)
  5. The machine will boot and then you can install your unsigned drivers

Awesome, Thank you very much for looking into this!
