No it isn't rooted. All I was told was to buy a rubber ducky deluxe and it will after maybe 20 hrs remove my code. Even on YouTube have seen it done. But how do u program something that already suppose to be. And what in the world do I do. My father funeral pics aren't backed up nor him holding my daughter as a baby. That's y I got this thing to unlock. I can't lose this info

Do you just have a pin password?  The only problem with this is how long will the device last compared to the amount of time it takes to find the pin.

Pin code. And I have tried for 5 days of thinking of every pin or number with no luck. I won't wipe my phone. I won't lose the last memories that he spoke of. That whole reason I bought this thing. Figured put together, stick in and goes to work finding the unlock code.

Unlock codes vary depending on manufacture. Especially with the lockout times and so on. You may need someone with cellular forensics to take a look. If you can find someone with a Cellebrite UFED or Cellebrite 4PC, they may be able to bypass the pin lock. Otherwise your options are possibly JTAG, which will semi-take apart your phone, hook it up to a firmware flasher box, and pull the storage data off that way. The next option would be either Direct eMMC (similar to JTAG but connects to the chip directly) or chip-off (physically removes the storage chip to read externally).

Disabled the lockscreen once from a Samsung Note 4 by booting into recovery mode and flashing a cwm image using odin, after that I have adb root access to the device.

adb pull file /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db, settings.db-shm and settings.db-wal to your local machine

Modify settings file /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db using sqlite3 or db.browser.for.sqlite or similar.

On the table secure set values such as lockscreen.disabled to 1

adb push all the the files settings.db, settings.db-shm, and settings.db-wal back to your device.

I hope this example can help.

If you don't backup and replace your original recovery partition, the phone will no longer be able to get OTA updates.

This may well be the case, but when you've got no other choice. Well after unlocking the phone, you may as well repair the device using Kies.

I think if she is more worried about all the data its a small price to pay to give up OTA and with the note5 I highly doubt its going to get another OTA from samsung.  That being said ive used odin once on my S4 and it was a pain in the ass because I had no idea what I was doing with anything on an android device.  Which is why i switched to nexus.  But that might be the cheapest way if you have the time and patients to do it.

Thanks to everyone.  It was unlocked. Funny all I did is basically put deluxe ducky together. Plugged In, ran wrong pin. Took out, plugged back in wrong pin. Did third time, wrong pin. Took out. And left out. Did nothing special but put my phone in safe mode. 3 hrs unlocked itself.

Did you know that it does this. I thought was luck. So my BFF phone been pin locked a month. Did same as I did. Hers unlocked in 3 hrs also.
