Lan turtle without Cloud VPN access server

jm0202. If you have a computer at home (I use a linux server) that will be at home you can setup the openvpn server on that. Then you have to have a dns server like duckdns.org on your home router. On your router setup port forwarding for your VPN server. Then your connection to the vpn would be through your duckdns.org address. With this the turtle will connect to your home vpn and you can connect to it from anywhere in the world. Or you could just to ramnode.com which offers some smaller VPS options starting at $15 a month. But in short yes what you are asking is completely possible.
