Hi Guys,

First off i should start by saying i am new to hak5 and this is my first pinapple so go easy,

Ordered the kit and arrived very quick, due to the festive season and all that only got a chance to look at it now.

When i tried downloading the wp6.sh and runnig ./wp6.sh i got below error. has anyone got this?

I tried manually adding default gw but got noting at all the pinapple stopped working... untill i did a reboot.

Ive also had issues connecting it to my HTC m8 just keeps asking me to configure thertheing even when i do, i seen someone had this same issue, (not really worried about this yet) also incase it matters im using Kali Linux 2.0 .

any ideas?

Thanks

hi Seb,

Thanks for the quick reply, i simply followed Darrens how to set up Linux version video. i ran wget wifipinapple.com/wp6.sh downloads file fine when search the dir i see it there, so then run chomd +x wp6.sh thats fine then get that error, i looked in the file and taught something was wrong i downloaded afew times in diff location etc but same everytime.

when i browse to the address i get attached website,

What is the script that should actually be in the file should i manually copy it in? or is there another wget link i should use.

Hi M1c40wav3,

You seem to have typed wifipinapple.com/wp6.sh instead of wifipineapple.com/wp6.sh.

Best Regards,

Sebkinne

Thanks for the heads up!

The bug is in my code where the ASCII art displays the interfaces and IP addresses. It displayed the previously saved IP/Interface instead of the newly set ones. I've fixed it and added a confirmation before connection. I'll push the fix to wifipineapple.com and toss this up on github in case more bugs are found (or if anyone wants to add features).

Hi all,

After downloading and starting wp6.sh I can get onto the WifiPineapple screen which gives me the details of how it wants to connect to the wifi pineapple. These are wrong as I do not connect to it via eth18 so I go to change them and as soon as I reach the Wlan phase to press enter it just stops and I can no longer input anything?

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

This issue seems to be related to the way the Internet gateway is determined on the Linux box. Currently I'm looking through netstat -nr and using the second column where the first column is 0.0.0.0. This is usually correct and is exactly what wp5.sh did for the Mark V.

Do you mind providing the output of netstat -nr on your system?

I'm thinking it might be better to determine the default gateway using route. Thanks for the heads up.

With the new sh I too noticed that it originally said eth18 but I changed it and it saved properly.. I just assumed it had Mr kitchen's settings baked in as in the nano Linux setup video he states he has been experimenting with eth.. I'm more curious as to why Darren apparently went to the desert with a nano.. @darren where is that video.. So so so curious.

I am getting this error, is it because it's trying to print the pineapple?

What's the output of the "route" command on your Linux box? Looks like the default gateway is misconstrued.
