Also, in my experience Gentoo and Arch are the more 'weird arch friendly' distros. Since your device is currently running OpenWRT I'm going to assume we're not talking about an x86 box... Since your device is currently running OpenWRT I'm going to assume we're not talking about an x86 box... ok, first of all thanks for the reply, i taiking about the MKV of course,to the 32gig sdcard( i read that you can do that with a usb drive) and how it failed to meet my needs? its not becuse of the openwrt, its the whole MKV in general its the same tools like in any other place. its based on all the crapy tools that bearly works, sslstrip,ettercap ETC. i think we all started from backtrack, and now kali so i kind of use to the aptitude script. and in debian i have planty of altrnative methdos, metaspliot. more options in short, better sniffers extra. the MKV has his benfits too(evil portal and all that part), but not alot so i am trying to prolong his shalf life. thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Come talk to me at a con or something, I'll buy you a beer.The Pineapple before you is powered by an Atheros AR9331 SoC which has a 32-bit 400MHz (IIRC) MIPS 24K CPU.Debian is made for the MIPS platform but not targetting this specific device. People have been trying to install this on things like the Netgear WNDR3700 (Atheros AR7161 rev 2) which is somewhat similar. From what I can tell here it's not been a raving success, but that might just be because it takes some dedicated effort to get going and people these days mostly just demand an image to write to an SD card and be done with it. So yeah, it can be done. I haven't done this myself nor did apparently anybody else but that's no reason for you to try. Me, I'm pointing my arrows at the new device when it comes.
