Mark V connection problem!

Soooo, I decided to try out a portable soloution for the Mark V. I bought a 12v chargable battery, with 2000mAh of sweet power.

It all seemed to work fine when I couldn`t connect through the web interface, nor ssh. I tried to connect with the regular adapter and set everything to system defaults but I experienced the same problem.

Any ideas? Need answers ASAP!!!

Yep, my school thinks that Windows 8 is "more stable" than Windows 10 apparently, so yeeey :\

More stable....I'd go with more mature an OS. Windows 10 is still VERY new, and as such a lot of things don't have drivers for them yet, especially when it comes to large scale printers. This makes supporting a school rather difficult. As with any OS release, be in Windows or Mac OSX for example, anytime it's a major new release, it takes time for companies to release new drivers to support the new OS.

I certainly wouldn't roll out Windows 10 in a school, and I have advised the schools I am the sysadmin for to not. I would even say to not do windows 8 or 8.1. For now I advise stick with 7 as it's stable and works.

And in the meantime show them the joys of linux and raspberry pi.....

Can you send the link of the battery that you bought?

Yeah, I don`t remember the link, but if you watch the harware overview video for the Mark V you`ll see the big blue battery. Scale that down a bit and you have my battery. You can find them very cheaply on ebay. I think I bought mine for under $12...

Yeah, not a huge fan of Windows 8 though but it works. What sucks is not having bash though. It`s always awkward changing between the windows command prompt and bash. Damn you Microsoft...
