cheeto
Hi folks, My MKV seems to acting up (I guess) I'm connecting in client mode and from time to time i have the RED LIGHT firmly lit. It comes and goes actually. Doesn't the RED light mean "Bad upgrade files"? I RE-flashed the 1.41 firmware but nothing has changed. Should i worry about this? Thx, cheeto
xrad
I think if your in client mode, it just telling you wlan1 is on.
cheeto
ahh ok. because previous to this it was having problems booting while the SD card is in the MKV. For some unknown reason my new sd class 10 card was corrupt. I formatted it several times in fat 32 and from the MKV in ext format. I was able to fix this problem by RE-installing the lastest update (1.41) and things seemed to work fine except the unusual red light. Well if it starts acting up again I'll post a message. Thanks for reading. cheeto
xrad
Yeah, I think the bad upgrade files thing is only at boot. Other than that, the red light is telling you wlan1 is being used. If this is not correct, someone will jump in here and correct me. I don't think you have anything to worry about cheeto.
cheeto
Xrad!! I really appreciate your input. I'll be keep an eye on it. So lesson learned: If the MKV failes to boot, Shut it off, remove the SD and it will probably work. After that Reflash the latest firmware update. Cheers!!! cheeto
Something is just not right. My MKV is no longer able to attack WPS. I'm referring to a WPS that it was able to attack before. As soon as i begin the WPS attack (reaver) I get the following message: "waiting for beacon from xx.xx.xx.xx.xx" and it just get stuck there. 0% progress. (20 minutes) I tried other WPS and got 0% progress as well. From time to time I get the red light on my pineapple. Could it be BRICKED? Btw, I uninstalled and re-installed WPS and still doesn't work. Thx. Cheeto
xrad
Attempt a reflash, see if that sorts it out. Or you can go into the Advanced tab of the Network tile, and reset your network interfaces (reset wireless configurations) first, see if that helps. cheeto
Thx, but i did reset my network connection. Still my MKV seems to be ineffective with WPS attack. I really have no idea what the problem could be. Could this be bricked? or broken? :( Thanks btw.. i will try a RE-flash again

raz0r
You know what i find strange is when i have been attacking an AP for a long time i lose the signal strength so all i done was reinstall the infusion but made sure i backed up the files. Any way good luck fella Regards Raz0r
cheeto
Hey raz0r, How did you back up your files on the mkv? Do you need to SSH into it? I´ve done this before with WifiSlax by simply copying a file from the Reaver directory. (I think the extension is .wpc or something like that). Cheers, cheeto
