How to Power a USB Hub

USB (universal series bus) hubs are incredibly simple to connect with some type of computer. They expand your computer's available USB ports, allowing you to have more devices connected to it simultaneously. Many hubs don't require configuration, most contemporary operating systems can operate hubs when you connect them. Some hubs require external power, so you should connect their AC adapters to an electrical outlet, then connect the hub to some free USB slot on your hard drive.

1.Connect the AC adapter to the USB hub into a power socket. Some hubs don't need external power, and may just work off of the USB port.

2. Connect one other end in the adapter in to the hub it ought to turn on.

3. Plug the hub into a USB port on your computer.
