I'd never done anything like it before and it worked first time. So far as I know, it's nigh on impossible to brick the duck. So long as you follow the guide to the letter, you should be fine. Read the guide first, download all the gear you need and set it all up ready to go. If you feel even semi confident about it, go for it. We're here to assist if you need, but trying it for yourself first will greatly increase your confidence and competence with the hardware itself.
