cree
I have a project in class where i have to design (only in theory) a fully switched network. I need to servers, switches, routers ,application software, all workstation computers, printers , productivity software, client operating systems, specific software for various departments, and uninterruptible power supplies. It is for 91 total computers(5 laptops for management), but needs to have room for 10% expansion. I having a hard time trying to find out everything that i will need. digip
Right down your devices and how they will connect, get a topology and then graph it out in office, or something like Packet Tracer, so you can vosialize the interconnected devices. Then make a spreadsheet with all device names, ip addresses, mac addresses, and subnet masks. That should get you started.
