  1. Hi, According to the Hak5 policy page (https://hakshop.com/pages/policy), it is clearly stated that orders from South Africa will be serviced. I was really excited to see this, however upon trying to order, I am unable to select South Africa from the drop down list of countries. Could you please update this list to include South Africa? I would really love to purchase a Wifi Pineapple Tetra and a Rubber Ducky. Also, please confirm if payment methods are only via Paypal and Amazon Pay? Is direct credit card payment not an option? The payment issue is workable however, but I'd need to select shipping to South Africa first. Please can someone help me. Thanks guys.
  2. Hi, I recently ordered a field kit from Hak5 in Canada and i have been given a $96.08 CAD bill on top of my purchase. According to the Canada post, the shipper (i.e. Hak5) has created special type of parcel request, i.e. a COD Parcel, which instructs the delivery service (i.e Canada Post) to collect X amount (i.i. 96.08) from the receiver , at the time of delivery, which then Canada Post will be sending back to Hak5 . This fee is not customs fee and/ or VAT. Canada post calls this fee, COD - Collect on Delivery.   3. Hi Everyone, Just a general inquiry. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to receive Hak5 tools in Canada. I ordered Hak5 field kit (i.e. tetra basic and no battery pack) on their black friday sale. I know it has only being 4 days and there was also a weekend in between and Hak5 says that it will take between 4-11 days for delivery. So i am not complaining, I am just wondering if anyone has ordered tools in Canada and how much time it took customs to clear the merchandise. FYI, it currently shows that my order has been shipped with DHL. Any suggestions would be nice. Psyched to get my hands on these awesome tools :) Thanks in advance.

  5. Hello everyone, I am a little bit new to the WiFi Pineapple Tetra device and specially to the Hak5 Community :D but I am pretty interested in it and I want to get one. However I have some problems. First of all I live in Lebanon hakshop doesn't ship this to my country, second of all hakshop only supports PayPal which also isn't supported in Lebanon. So in this case I started thinking of borderlinx (www.borderlinx.com) and this company provides the user a US address that I can ship the products to and later on ship to Lebanon and they also have a concierge service that can buy the product using PayPal. This sounds like good and bad because well first of all this would definitely increase the overall price that I am going to pay, first to pay the shipment price for borderlinx to US address then the shipment price to Lebanon along with the custom fees and taxes and also pay the concierge fee (5% of the product price), well I don't care I'll pay whatever amount but I also checked on the hakshop website on the terms/policies page that they prohibit freight forwarding services? Does that mean that I can't user borderlinx? And in that case how in the world would I get my hands on this amazing product? On the other hand, I wanna ask about the compatible and supported mobile hotspots. My Telco provider has the "Huawei 4G E5786Bs" Mobile Hotspot, but does it support USB Tethering? Is it compatible with Pineapple Tetra which essentially is based on OpenWRT which is Linux? Also I really didn't find much documentation and videos online. Any help would be much appreciated.

  7. sorry for the tag vomit, i just wanted to get as much meta to make this relevant as i couldn't find much along what was happening with me in the search. I know there is an extremely small staff in the warehouse and any questions go into a zendesk queue. and that's totally fine. i'm cool with that and the wait. i get it. my steps were the following: 1. order the items (2 pineapples and a yagi) 2. make purchase 3. tell my CC custserv that this is a VALID transaction as fraud detect grabbed it immediately 4. check order status (pending) 5. wait 3 days, order is cancelled. 6. repeat with same results. 7. publicly ask questions to @Darren Kitchen on twitter. (yes, he is nice enough to respond direct to me) 8. email and get a zendesk ticket (i never even check my own zendesk queue) 9. harrass @mubix via messenger on this board, skipping twitter. 10. now toss it to everyone else to see if i can get some help. now, with that being said... anyone else experience this same thing? i can't tell if its my CC cancelling the order or the hak5 shop. the purchase goes through, hits my card and then goes to "pending". on status and everything. wait 3 days and then it cancels. this has happened twice now and to avoid the old "insanity is the same thing" adage, i come to the crowds of my people. anyone?
  8. Dear Shannon, Yes! I checked all areas and both E-mails both Earthlink and Hotmail that I used to send out. I thought that my first Emails from Earthlink might have been blocked by the system it happened to me once before someone blocked all Earthlink emails so mine had not gotten through. So I checked everything and I could not find any emails that came to me from Sara or Hak5. Thank you so much for helping me with this situation. I do not trust UPS and I will tell you why. My son bought a Large screen TV and UPS said it was delivered but it was not, then after they started checking the driver had told then that he had left it with the people across the street and would retrieve it and get it to me. I caught the UPS truck coming down the street and stopping in front of the peoples house across the street so I ran right up to the truck and found out it was not with my neighbor across the street it had never left his truck. He went in back of his truck and got it for me. If I had not been fast in going after the missing TV, he I am sure was going to keep it for himself. Your emails seem to be reaching me fine. Yes I did just receive an email with a new tracking number that just came in around the time yours did.   9. Anyone had any experience of UK Shipping from the Hakshop? I'm thinking of getting my hands on a Pineapple Nano but not entirely sure how much duty/VAT I'll have to pay when it comes through customs. Also how long does UK shipping usually take? Cheers.

Hi guys, I've recently purchased the Wifi Pineapple mark V, just wondering how long it takes to process the order? :/ I know its listed on the website and all but I've not received any emails from hak5 regarding my previous inquiries about shipment to Singapore. I had to use bordernlinx to forward the mail. Does anyone have the same experience with hak5shop? Thanks!
  11. Hi guys, yesterday I ordered WiFi Pineapple , but today the payment Status is refunded !! I'm not sure what the problem is with my address or the shipping method ? by the way ,I'm using myus.com (package forward service) is it allowed or not? and it's says : ORDER CANCELLED ON FEBRUARY 05, 2015 05:45PM(Reason: inventory) So what i did wrong ? or how to solve it :( please help me guys p.s. i live in the middle east

  13. Hey there, I ordered the Travel Kit Upgrade on the day of the Mark V release. I saw that the shipping would be delayed, and the package would be sent 10/21. So, as announced I received an e-mail the 21st, saying that my order had been shipped: "We wanted to let you know that your order (#xxxxx-x) was shipped via UPS, UPS Ground on 10/21/2013.", and of course the Travel Kit is in the Item list. But, still this day today, there is absolutely no tracking updates from UPS. It still just says: "Order Processed: Ready for UPS". What does this mean? Is there something wrong with my order? Or is it delayed? Thanks!

Hello, I recently placed a purchase for one of the Wifi Pineapple's and was promptly notified via email that my order had been automatically canceled, the email stated the following: Being rather confused by this, I emailed customer service requesting further information as to why my order had been canceled, the response I was provided with was: Totally understandable, and prior to receiving this email from support, I had placed a second order on the Hak5.org store assuming that I had perhaps keyed in the shipping information incorrectly. The first order reflects being canceled, my bank also reflects the same information but this new order I placed, is stuck in a "processing" state and I'm unable to get any sort of information from the customer service department. I've called, left a message and sent about 5 emails since receiving this notice, providing the link to my linked-in account, even sent an email from my company just as a secondary layer of proof, no response. I'm not sure what to think at this point, the money was deducted from my account but I've not received word if the information I provided was sufficient proof or not. I'm afraid that this has been a rather unpleasant experience thus far, people often have items sent to their place of business, this isn't abnormal behavior by any means and being that this item was supposed to be delegated for work related purposes, I opted for the 2 day shipping, it doesn't appear that I'm going to receive my item on time even though the site states that _most_ items are shipped within the first 24 hours. I'm a bit frustrated, am out 130+ dollars and have no idea if my item is going to ship or what the status is of the order, I'd very much like a response on this if possible. I can understand being a smaller business and having to be cautious when mailing to a secondary addresses but, I've provided the proof requested, I've been charged for the item, I just want this issue resolved. Any assistance with this will be greatly appreciated, thank you for your time.
