  2. Hi Folk, I am using RTL-SDR to take dump of cell tower located in my region. Till now,I am able to take GSM incoming call dump which is working perfectly OK. Now, , my goal is to analyze GPRS connection initiation (GPRS attach) and corresponding signaling data. I have tried the scenario by switching OFF and then ON the mobile data but I couldn't see any packets related to GPRS. Is there something I am missing?
  3. Hi everyone. I recently picked up a new Pi 3, and I set it up to run headless with CC through SSH. I'm having difficulty getting packet injection to work for some reason. I know the Alfa cards work, I can use them successfully on my other devices just fine. 0/30 tests failed with aireplay-ng injection testing on the Pi for some reason. Kali 2.0 works fine on my laptop and PC. Anyone else have this issue before? I can pick up APs just fine, I've tried turning off channel hopping, specifically defining an ssid. No joy. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
  4. I'm fairly new to the whole wifi sniffing scene, but I think I want the Mark V since it seems like there's a good community and intuitive interface. I've done a little with OpenWRT stuff with some routers but it hasn't done it for me. I'm looking to buy the Mark V and configure it to do the following: I go to some public location I turn it on (+ maybe some small steps necessary to start the process) Starts displaying MAC addresses, signal strengths, and headers, of people's devices nearby with a timestamp Outputs to a log file preferably, or something I can save at some point I don't want to buy the Mark V and have to do a whole lot of my own coding since this project has a bit of a time crunch. Can anyone post some tutorials maybe, or any advice as to how to accomplish my goal with minimal sophistication? I have programming experience and all, but obviously the easier the better. Thank you
  5. Does anybody have any helpful information regarding capturing a password attempt to access my own wifi network? So this is before the user even logs onto my network, I want the ability to see what passwords the user is trying. I am thinking about hacking an open source router which I may need for this to work? If anyone has any information regarding this that would be very helpful, I have wireshark but the question is specifically about the initial password attempt to access the wifi network. Thanks!
  6. Dear friends, How to spoof the TTL(Time to Live) value in backtrack. I have no idea about that. I search this topic with Google. But i have not a good result. So please tell me how to do this ? if you think TTL value is most important to hide my ID?
