The recent (?) update for opkg ships a different opkg.conf. Most importantly it changes the source url from the Hak5 server to the official OpenWRT repository: $ diff opkg.conf opkg.conf-opkg 1c1 < src/gz pineapple_packages http://cloud.wifipineapple.com/mk5/packages --- > src/gz attitude_adjustment http://downloads.openwrt.org/attitude_adjustment/12.09/ar71xx/generic/packages 6,7d5 < dest usb /sd < dest sd /sd Is this a bug or by design? However, opkg update still pulls from https://www.wifipineapple.com/mk5/packages/Packages.gz. I did reboot my Pineapple without change. Does anyone know what's going on here?

I'm having some trouble with the Tetra. I am using the 15.05 firmware and am able to view and download modules from the web interface. The problem I am running into is that the dependencies will not install. I click the install button and they hang for a few minutes and go back to showing that the dependencies have not installed. Modules I have tried include : Papers, SSLsplit, and Site Survey I can SSH into the Tetra and ping google so I know it has internet access. I tried running "opkg update" but it reaches out to http://downloads.openwrt.org/chaos_calmer/15.05/ar71xx/generic/packages/base/Packages.gz. but hangs and does not update. Any help is much appreciated.

I'm looking to do some site scanning on both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz range. I thought the Tetra would be ideal for this using one radio for 2.4Ghz and the other for 5Ghz. I've seen a number of guides for using Kismet with the NANO and MarkV but nothing specifically for the Tetra. I've installed kismet-server and kismet-client using opkg, a release from 2013 it appears. I have a few issues The interface doesn't show any networks, but it does show statistics on the channels and data packets captured. Kismet doesn't honour the channellist or channels I set for each interface in the config file, it always uses the autodetected list from the chipset. I have to go into the kistmet-client interface and manually set the channels. The autodetected list is also wrong and tries to set the card to channels it can't support based on iwlist. Despite it showing nothing the pcap it outputs contains all the information expected, I can see and filter between 2Ghz and 5Ghz networks etc. Unfortunately this isn't very useful for onsite scanning where live feedback on networks is crucial. Any help or insight greatly appreciated. The reason airodump-ng and the recon module aren't fit for this purpose is because I parse the pcap and need the PPI header information to extract the band and signal strength. Airodump-ng on the pineapple doesn't export PPI headers or even basic radiotap headers. I've also tried running them in parallel to use the output of airodump, but it doesn't seem to deal with 5Ghz networks very well.

I want to install MITMF into my mark5 pineapple. Is this possible without pip and other stuff? I cant install pip and other dependencies because lack of system resources. Thanks.

Hi guys. Quite newbie with wifipineapple, or in general, and I was trying to install bettercap to the nano since I really like it, but for that I need to install ruby and gems, I tried with: opkg --dest sd install ruby opkg --dest sd install ruby-gems but everytime I try to run ruby itself or .rb it does not point to the right path, it stills tries to go to /usr/lib/ruby/ruby2.2-bin. Since my english is quite negligent I'll try to put examples. # ruby /sd/usr/bin/ruby: exec: line 4: /usr/lib/ruby/ruby2.2-bin: not found /sd/usr/bin/ruby# ./ruby2-2.bin <internal:gem_prelude>:1:in `require': cannot load such file -- rubygems.rb (LoadError) from <internal:gem_prelude>:1:in `<compiled>' I believe bettercap also requires some specific libs or gems, but still, if I try: #sd/bettercap-master/bin ./bettercap /sd/usr/bin/ruby: exec: line 4: /usr/lib/ruby/ruby2.2-bin: not found. Again, it cannot find ruby path. Any ideas guys?

So, I want to install the USB packages: root@pineapple:# opkg --dest usb install tmux gpsd gpsd-clients root@pineapple:# opkg install kernel kmod-usb-serial-pl2303 It gives me errors saying it doesn't recognize the command and can't locate the packages when I use "apt-get install". I am a beginner at wireless hacking and I'm just starting to use the WiFi pineapple. It would also be nice if someone had read "Hacking Exposed: Wireless Edition", although not neccessary, since that's where I'm getting these instructions from. I'm trying to do this on kali linux 2.0

I would like to install logrotate from the openWrt repository. Hey there guys, Ran into a issue when trying to start Karma in the web interface, it looked as if it was running the first time however I have not been successful since then capturing "Victem's" with karma which made me suspicious that it was somehow broken. I popped into shell (ssh) and tried to figure out the issue, Here is what I know: OPKG does not recognize that Karma is installed. root@Pineapple:/etc# opkg remove karma No packages removed. root@Pineapple:/etc# OPKG is having an dependency issue involving the kernel (as far as i can tell) root@Pineapple:~# opkg install karma Installing karma (20060124-1) to root... Downloading http://cloud.wifipineapple.com/mk5/packages/karma_20060124-1_ar71xx.ipk. Collected errors: * satisfy_dependencies_for: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for karma: * kernel (= 3.3.8-1-d6597ebf6203328d3519ea3c3371a493) * * opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package karma. HOWEVER I can execute karma using the full path command: "/etc/init.d/karma start" just fine??? What am i doing wrong here? do I have to uninstall karma manually? and if so how? Thanks!

I have this question about the OPKG Manager module if theres anyway to install the packages without manually having to click to download each one?

Hi- So I had my pineapple set up before with Sandisk Cruzer micro - properly partitioned and such with 12Gb Ext4 as main and ~4Gb Ext4 as swap... It was working in the pineapple, but now that I've upgraded the firmware to 2.8.0, I can't get infusions to install to it anymore. The really interesting thing is that from Putty, I can install to the USB using opkg command line... Why isn't the web interface reading the USB? Here is my fstab config: lusb output: lsusb Output Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0781:5571 SanDisk Corp. Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub and this is what mount says: Any help would be extremely appreciated! I haven't reformatted and started over with the drive just yet... Hey, In the last few days i can't update my opkg, seem it's beacuse the link is not download the correct file when updating opkg. If you have problem with opkg that you cant install new package and when you try the command: opkg list It show you the installed problem, i have a fix for you: Change the link in /etc/opkg.conf from: src/gz snapshots http://cloud.wifipineapple.com/packages To: src/gz snapshots http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/trunk/ar71xx/packages This is the same directory anyway but this fix the bug. I belive that the administrators fix this asap but until then, you're not stuck. if you got problem with this talk to me, GeHeNoM
