  1. I have a blog and currently use google analytics to identify trends. Recently, I'm getting silly comments posted on my blog and would like to identify the source. Does anyone know how I can find the IP address of a visitor to my blog? TIA
  2. Hi. I am having some fun with my brand new Pineapple NANO but there's one thing I cannot understand. I create an Open AP SSID for some testing and enable Internet Connection Sharing on my computer (currently working on a Mac), sometimes everything works fine and sometimes it does not. If I connect with my phone to that SSID, I see that sometimes (and I have no control on that) it gets a 192.168.1.x IP address (and everything works) and sometimes it gets a 172.16.42.x IP address (and nothing works). What regulates this IP assignation? Thanks for your help, abete
  3. How do I force the use of IPv4 addresses on my local area network vs IPv6?
  4. I try typing in the ip address with the port, like 172.16.42.1:1471 and clicking enter until the cows come home and it never shows up anymore... At least, almost never. It hasn't shown up in the browser or wifi in several hours. I can't ping the device, even with the ethernet chord connected. I am wondering if a USB-Male-A to USB-A-Male would solve the problem or if I need to fix it over wifi. Ethernet light is on on the pineapple itself.
  5. Hello everyone. First post on here so bear with me. I am a cyber security student trying to learn to use kali and linux in general, and I have a problem with wifi. I have dual booted Kali with windows 8.1, and I cannot use the internet when I boot into kali. I get an ip address from my router's dhcp, I can ping addresses outside the network, like 8.8.8.8, but I cannot connect to any web pages. I need to connect while I work on kali for school work. Anybody know whats going on? Thanks in advance.
