1. Hi, According to the documentation the Q STRING command argument don't require quotes. During my work on an OSX layout for bb i discover this strange behavior : LED SETUP ATTACKMODE STORAGE HID LED ATTACK # Line 5-12 are just test to check if the command works well with and without quote # and that this behavior are the same on the short QUACK command QUACK STRING Hello World Q ENTER QUACK STRING "Hello World" Q ENTER Q STRING Hello World Q ENTER Q STRING "Hello World" Q ENTER Q STRING "<" Q ENTER Q STRING < Q ENTER LED FINISH Produce : Hello World Hello World Hello World Hello World < I expected Hello World Hello World Hello World Hello World < < < The bashbunny get stuck on line 15 (line 14 has been executed), my led stay in LED ATTACK forever. Seems that using the STRING command with symbol without quote make the bunny sick (i have made the test with others symbols). When trying to press the [<] key it the same it's stuck LED SETUP ATTACKMODE STORAGE HID LED ATTACK QUACK STRING Hello World Q ENTER QUACK STRING "Hello World" Q ENTER Q STRING Hello World Q ENTER Q STRING "Hello World" Q ENTER Q STRING "a" Q ENTER Q a Q ENTER Q STRING "<" Q ENTER Q < Q ENTER LED FINISH Is there something i miss understood or it's an issue ?
2. I have discovered that the Javascript converter doesn't work properly with Firefox. While it seems to do the conversion properly, it won't let the user save the payload (the download box doesn't open). I tried it on both Windows and Linux, with and without add-ons enabled and it doesn't change anything. I checked the debug console and nothing seems to be out of the ordinary as it returns that everything is OK. I also checked with Chrome and there it works flawlessly. Too bad 'cause I want to avoid using Chrome. I tried it with Edge. Same problem as Firefox. And Internet Explorer... completely broken... but what was I to expect?
3. Hi guys, I just bought the rubber ducky and flashed it to the Twin Duck mode. Well the twin duck mode is working pretty much cool infact iam able to browse through files in my SD card and the one which comes with the ducky is also executing a Hello World Payload but when I make my own payload and put the inject.bin file the ducky doesnt show up rather it just show a red light for about a second and then theres no light neither the payload works. Ive tried to swap SD cards but that does'nt solve my problem either?
4. Hello together, i found a way to mount at the newest Firmware a USB-Stick from the Wifi-pineapple Nano I have a SanDisk USB-Stick with 32GB of Memory at the first time i plug the stick in it dosent work but if i do in the coomand line via SSH type his "fdisk -l" i saw the usb stick but i wasnt able to mount it so i was loocking for "dsmesg" an saw at the end was written " 2366.110000] sd 7:0:0:0: [sdb] Write cache: disabled, read cache: enabled, doesn't support DPO or FUA " i dont really know what that means but i was then loocking in google for "opkg usb driver" and then i found this https://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/usb.essentials so i was just do all stuff just updating it with ignoring errors and after that i was chaneging the fstab file to: config 'global' option anon_swap '0' option anon_mount '0' option auto_swap '1' option auto_mount '1' option delay_root '5' option check_fs '0' config 'mount' option target '/sd' option device '/dev/sdb/' option fstype 'auto' option options 'rw,sync' option enabled '1' and you have to format to ext4 your stick via ssh or on your Webinterface. after that you just need to refresh the page and i saw then a drive "/dev/sdb" and there it is !!! MY USB Stick ! i hope i was helping there some guys. And a really sorry for my bad english :( Greets from Germany Nico!

7. I have been unable to use my WiFi pineapple nano on my Windows 8 laptop since the second day of receiving it, I have checked for typos and I have went through the manual making sure everything was right and it was, I even tried to move this to another computer with no success even a factory reset with no luck, you can review the settings here I find it odd that windows does recognize it as "ASIX to fast Ethernet adapter" which does question me if it's even supposed to be that. Any help would be appreciated!
8. Hello, I've updated my BB to 1.2 and i've tried to set DUCKY_LANG to fr in my config.txt file. I've tried to use the MACInfoGrabber payload. But i still have an issue because special chars arent's mapped on the same way on PC and on mac. For example when i have these commands on the payload : QUACK GUI SPACE QUACK DELAY 1000 QUACK STRING terminal QUACK ENTER QUACK DELAY 5000 QUACK STRING mkdir -p /Volumes/BashBunny/$lootdir/xlsx QUACK ENTER QUACK DELAY 500 QUACK STRING cat \~/Library/Application\\ Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Cookies \> /Volumes/BashBunny/$lootdir/chromecookies.db QUACK ENTER QUACK DELAY 1000 QUACK STRING cp \~/Documents/{*.xlsx,*.xls,*.pdf} /Volumes/BashBunny/$lootdir/xlsx/\; killall Terminal QUACK ENTER The BB in HID Mode type this text : terminalmkdir §p /Volumes/BashBunny/loot/MacLoot/xlsxcat ë/Library/Application¡ Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Cookies # /Volumes/BashBunny/loot/MacLoot/chromecookies.dbcp ë/Documents/`.xlsx ë/Documents/`.xls ë/Documents/`.pdf /Volumes/BashBunny/loot/MacLoot/xlsx/; killall Terminal I think we need 2 files per language one for Windows and one for Mac. Am I right ? I don't have any idea to fix this issue. Maybe someone have a hint for me ? Thanks by advance.
9. SD card works sometimes, sometimes you need to remove it and put it back in order to make it work, also the recon get me " "No scan results." Even when i have 3 routers running next to me ( 2.4Gz) How do i fix that? I already did the factory reset 3 times!!
10. Hi, Looking for some help, total noob here. I've searched the forum and can't find any answers or similar problems to mine (i'm sure it's a simple noob error). Basically I've tried two different payloads, a simple "hello world" and a wall paper change. Both have the same issue which ends up with the desktop icons being re-named to the actual code that is in the text file / payload, whilst the payload is executing. As far as i'm aware the inject file is compiled correctly, and placed at the root of the ducky micro SD. I've also watched and followed the: Ducky quack start guideWith no luck. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated (trying different delays right now). Cheers
11. Hello again everybody. Im sorry for having 2 threads at the same time, but they are about different issues with my ducky; This time, after 2 o 3 days of perfect perfomance of my rubber ducky, it suddenly corrupted my MicroSD card (or it corrupted itself?) The one that cames with the ducky. When I plug the microSD with the adapter it says that it has no format, so I should format it, so I formated. But, afterwards unplugin the microSD, if I plug again, It is unformated again. Ducky just gives red SOLID light with or without card. Is this a known issue? Thanks in advance! My best regards. Pedro.
12. Hello again everybody. So, I am happy and proud of own an Usb Rubber Ducky, but I have a problem; The Usb to Micro Usb (You know, the android usb small port) adapter that cames with Usb Rubber Ducky does not works. Does it happens usually? Any way of fixing it? If not, could I ask for a partial refund? Thanks in advance. My best regards.
13. Hi Everyone, I'm having issues with my pineapple Mark V, as the tittle said, it reboots when Im connected to the management WiFi using my cellphone, and checking the clients connected (even if there isn't any), showing the "entropy bonny" to suddenly lit the red led and reinitiate. This happened with under the following escenario: Pineapple connected to RJ-45 configured with the new client mode to access internet Running Karma, PineAP, Beacon Response, Auto Harvester and SSLStrip. MicroSD Sandisk Ultra 32GB, also tested with the 2GB stock MicroSD. All the rest setting as default. My unsucessful attempt to troubleshoot this was execute the un-brick flashing process using the factory.bin firmware image, to later upgrade the firmware from the 2.0.4 version to the latest 2.3.0. Im currently running the 2.0.4 firmware on the Pineapple, as it seems to be more stable than the 2.3.0 firmware. If any further information is required, please do not hesitate to ask. Any advice or tip will be much appreciate to solve this will be much appreciated

15. Hi, I've just received my WiFi Pineapple and have been running into some issues, of which I've partially fixed by using the manual and this forum. But I have been noticing some odd issues with the wireless interfaces in the web management interface. They either don't enable (start up) or stay up. For instance I have successfully connected to a wireless router on wlan1 (Which is the only interface in the Network tab), but the connection information states I'm not connected. Furthermore the network tab will often show that wlan1 is not enabled (Even though there is an active connection) and upon enabling the interface it will swap wlan0 to enabled. I can still download infusions and get an active internet connection whilst wlan1 states it's not enabled. I find that rather strange. Another thing that should be noted is that before doing the firmware update I had a wireless connection to the web interface for initial setup however this tends to disappear or not be available at boot. Just to list some questions relating to this post: Is this a problem with the newest firmware? Can this be fixed? Why doesn't the wireless access point/connection start at boot? As I don't full understand this part of the unit, do I have to change something to make it active? Thanks, -Skye
16. So, I just recently got my ducky, and when I downloaded and ran a few commands I decided to make my own. After trying it, it didn't work, so I went to go and run one I had already ran ( That did work ) and now when I plug my ducky in, all it does it flash green with almost no break in-between. Help! Can someone give me a full explanation on how to use this? And how to fix it.. Thanks
17. Hi all, I am having issues connecting to a karma AP from my android phone. (saved an open wifi in my phone, karma reacted to the probe and showed it as available, connect to it, failed). I can connect to the karma AP from Windows 7 laptop, or other android tablet (version 4.0.4), but not the mobile phone. (Android versions where karma doesn't work: 4.2.2. and 4.3) Karma log entry: (this was repeated at least 100 times) KARMA: Successful association of 10:68:3f:xx:xx:xxKARMA: Checking SSID for start of association, pass through freewifi Syslog: (repeated as well) 10:46:15 Pineapple daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 10:68:3f:xx:xx:xx IEEE 802.11: disassociated 10:46:15 Pineapple daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 10:68:3f:xx:xx:xx IEEE 802.11: authenticated 10:46:15 Pineapple daemon.info hostapd: wlan0: STA 10:68:3f:xx:xx:xx IEEE 802.11: associated (aid 3) (MAC censored) Did anyone experience anything similar? Or does anyone have any clues what to look for? Thanks.
18. Hi everyone! I am a new Pineapple Mark IV user and so far enjoying the ride! :) I have a question about a strange problem I am having with my Pineapple, in a nutshell, I can connect to the Pineapple management portal, I have configured a tablet to connect to the pineapple wifi and it can access the internet. But on the Pineapple management portal if I click on upgrade or public_internet, I get a connection error... as if my laptop was not properly doing the ICS. Now for the details. I am using a Macbook pro (latest OS X), I have upgraded the Pineapple to version 2.7.5. I tried to connect the pineapple natively from my Mac, but had problems with ICS. I could connect to the management portal but the Internet connection could not be shared, no matter how much I tried using the help I found online (manual network setup, moving the network interface priorities, Internet Sharing option, etc). I stopped trying when I read there was a problem on Mac OS X ICS and that I should change my Pineapple IP address to something like 192.168.x.x. I am waiting to receive my Serial TTL cable before trying to change the IP! :) But... I could successfully configure it with running Backtrack 5 R3 on my Mac. Disabling the Ethernet connection natively on the mac, In VMware adding the Ethernet connection as a "Bridge" and the Wifi Internet connection as a "Bridge" too. Then running /etc/init.d/networking restart and wp4.sh everything worked fine. I was happy! :) I tried the tcpdump infusion and it worked, same for URLsnarf, dns spoofing... Karma... not so much, I get a very mixed result! (but I admit I am still a bit confused with the black/white list). anyway... that was last night! This morning... I am trying on another network (one I am allowed to try on). I could connect to the Pineapple management console but the internet connection on BT didn't worked at first! Meaning I could not get Backtrack to get an IP address for the Internet (through a WEP internet connection...yup...) I had to change from a Bridge to a NAT, this time it worked. BT had an internet connection. This is where it is odd... I cannot access the internet from the pineapple console! I tried resetting (many times) my pineapple, mac, vm, etc... still no luck... then I just tried to connect my test android tablet on the pineapple wifi just in case... and I can see I have internet access! So the question is: How come I seem to be sharing my internet connection through the Pineapple, but the pinapple cannot access the internet from the console (public_internet and pineapple bar)? what other troubleshooting can I do? I will try again tonight at home, but I need for it to work where I have been asked to test it. Thanks! Bugsland.
19. Hello, Has anybody experienced issues with the hak5 shop lately ? I tried using two different credit cards to make a purchase but it gives me "Error from gateway, Your card was decline" The funny thing is it doesn't even show up with the bank that the payment attempt was ever made. I tried contacting support but they couldnt help me much. It seems like its an issue with the hak5 payment gateway. :(
20. First of all I'm working with a backtrack 5 VM through parallels. Been working on this for 14 hours straight, so I'm desperate. I built my own ubertooth, checks out fine. flashed the bootloader onto it just fine too. Now i'm working on flashing the bluetooth_rxtx.bin file onto it using ubertooth_dfu but I keep getting the following error: No module named core Traceback (most recent call last): File "ubertooth-dfu", line 318, in <module> print dfu.get_status( ) NameError: name 'dfu' is not defined.
The command I use:
python ubertooth-dfu write bluetooth_rxtx.dfu
bluetooth_rxtx.dfu is in the same folder as ubertooth-dfu. I've also tried flashing .bin, .hex, and all the rest of the stuff I can find. I have the device in DFU mode with the only method I can, bridging pins 1 and 3 with a paper clip. Seems to work just fine as everything lights up to show DFU mode. If anyone has the SLIGHTEST idea how I might could fix this, I'd be ever so thankful. And to the person who helps most/gives me a fix is of course the $20 bounty, if allowed on the forums. I've tried everything i can on both mac and backtrack 5 linux, seems like I've got everything but one small detail. Thanks in advance for any and all replies! -alphax
21. Hoping someone can help me here... I'm having some trouble communicating with my Mark IV over ethernet. Here's the system & setup details: MacBook Air running x86_64 Arch Linux (3.5.3-2 kernel with CK patchset) Interface connected to my home router: wlan0 Interface connected to the Pineapple: eth0 (this is a usb to ethernet dongle, going into the PoE port on the Pineapple) After powering on the Pineapple, leaving it for a minute or two to settle (WPS button stopped flashing n whatnot) I then connect it to my MacBook as described above. Running ifconfig only shows lo and wlan0, so, I manually bring up eth0 with sudo ifconfig eth0 up. I then run the wp4.sh script as root, however, ping requests to 172.16.42.1 fail and the WebUI is inaccessible. I manually assign 172.16.42.42 to my eth0 with sudo ifconfig eth0 172.16.42.42, then rerun the script, but it's the same thing :( Here's ifconfig's output after all this: eth0: flags=4099<UP,BROADCAST,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 inet 172.16.42.42 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 172.16.42.255 ether b8:8d:12:56:b0:0b txqueuelen 1000 (Ethernet) RX packets 0 bytes 0 (0.0 B) RX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 frame 0 TX packets 0 bytes 0 (0.0 B) TX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 carrier 0 collisions 0 lo: flags=73<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING> mtu 16436 inet 127.0.0.1 netmask 255.0.0.0 inet6 ::1 prefixlen 128 scopeid 0x10<host> loop txqueuelen 0 (Local Loopback) RX packets 22403 bytes 1496944 (1.4 MiB) RX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 frame 0 TX packets 22403 bytes 1496944 (1.4 MiB) TX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 carrier 0 collisions 0 wlan0: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 inet 192.168.0.110 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.0.255 inet6 fe80::1240:f3ff:fe89:c2e2 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x20<link> ether 10:40:f3:89:c2:e2 txqueuelen 1000 (Ethernet) RX packets 191815 bytes 256945237 (245.0 MiB) RX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 frame 176769 TX packets 129362 bytes 14277439 (13.6 MiB) TX errors 10 dropped 0 overruns 0 carrier 0 collisions 0 device interrupt 17 I really hope someone can help out!
