  1. My apologies, re-reading that, i realised my question was rather vague. I am trying to get internet connection to the pineapple via an ethernet cable which is attached to my PC. Currently wired client mode is not working for me. When i run Pine AP/Karma, I need an extra wireless adapter for internet access on any of the access points which are copied, as i am currently unable to obtain internet access via a wired connection.
  2. Hi, I am struggling to get the wired network into client mode. I saw somewhere that you need to edit the network/config file, however I am unsure as to what I have to edit in that file. Any help would be appreciated!
  3. May I ask exactly what you need to modify in your Network file to make this work? Thanks :D
  4. I am unable to get SCP to transfer any files across (in terminal or WinSCP) :( WinSCP just says that SCP is not enabled on the device, and terminal just spits out errors saying it couldn't find the tmp folder. I have tried all other transfer protocoles in WinSCP to no avail. Any ideas?
  5. Hey everyone. I am having issues installing the dependencies for Evil Portal. I am unable to start the infusion from the small tile, and when I go into the larger tile, I click start, it turns green, i close the large tile and it says that nodogsplash is disabled still. After that i try to auto-configure, and it says that i am missing dependancies, so i click that, the pineapple spins, and i am still missing the dependancies. I have tried uninstalling the infusion, then logging in via SSH and running opkg remove nodogsplash, then re-installing via SSH, and reinstalling via the web interface, and still nothing. I have tried installing nodogsplash into the openwrt firmware directly (192.168.1.1) and still nothing. I have tried running the web interface through firefox, and installing the dependancies through this web browser....nothing. Yes I am connected to the internet, and am able to download all other files. I am at a loss as to what to do :( I am running the pineapple on an MR-3040. Thanks for your help :)
  6. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! IT WORKS NOW! THANK YOU :D I was beginning to worry I had screwed something up completely, spent the past few days trying to figure it out.... What a speedy reply too, great job :D
  7. Hi Guys, I have recently run into a problem where I am unable to install any dependencies for any of the infusions. I have scoured these forums/google to look for an answer, but all I have come across is that the server must be down. I am running the Wifi Pineapple MK5 firmware on a TP-Link MR-3040 router, and have had no problems installing depencies prior to a few days ago. Everything has been working perfectly.... I have tried re-installing the firmware multiple times, with no change. I am doing exactly the same installation steps as before...however I can only now install the infusions, but not the dependencies... When i search http://cloud.wifipineapple.com/mk5/packages/Packages.gz, all I get is "this site can't be reached". I have tried searching this through VPN, however still the same result. Here is the output when I run opkg update, and try to install Reaver. It is the same for every other infusion. root@Pineapple:~# opkg update Starting update.. Downloading from https://www.wifipineapple.com/mk5/packages/Packages.gz Update successful. root@Pineapple:~# opkg install reaver Installing reaver (Big_endian-1) to root... Downloading http://cloud.wifipineapple.com/mk5/packages/reaver_Big_endian-1_ar71xx.ipk. wget: bad address 'cloud.wifipineapple.com' Collected errors: * opkg_download: Failed to download http://cloud.wifipineapple.com/mk5/packages/reaver_Big_endian-1_ar71xx.ipk, wget returned 1. * opkg_install_pkg: Failed to download reaver. Perhaps you need to run 'opkg update'? * opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package reaver. I understand that the MR-3040 has different hardware, but it has honestly run perfecetly up until now. I was having issues connecting the pineapple to the internet via Wired mode, and was unsuccesful in that regard, and had to re-install the firmware as i was unable to access the webinterface. After that, the problems started. Wondering if that was a coincidence that the dependencies stopped installing from the webserver, or if I did something wrong.... Any help would be greatly appreciated!
