I found myself having issues with the netcat listener closing when the LanTurtle disconnected. This created challenges when power outages occurred.
My solution was to loop the netcat listener so that it auto restarts when it closes.
You'll want to run this in a screen session so if you don't have screen installed on a VPS do that first.
- yum install screen
- apt-get install screen
Once you have screen installed open a session by typing 'screen' (no quotes)
Then run the following:
while :; do netcat -l -v 8080; done
This is an infinite loop where everytime `netcat -l -v 8080` closes it starts a new process with the same commands.
