  1. Seb and b0N3z are steering you the right course. Personally I've figured out how to dual boot using reFind with a Linux partition on my MacBook Air. Works like a champ. I have fooled around with trying to get ICS working on ElCap but haven't had the time to try out Sierra's set up yet. My server back at the house is still running ElCap until I figure all the ICS out. I must say that .zip b0N3z has set up is pretty informative.
  2. Although I tend to use Kali, I don't have too much trouble getting my Nano to work with my MacbookAir. The tutorial and follow on info many of the forum members have added have made the painful process more like a dental visit than a full on proctological exam. ;) Thank heaven for small mercies! 3. Ok, so I've seen Darren flash the "WiFi Pineapple" book at least twice on the Hak5 web cast. Looks pretty comprehensive. When are we going to see some love? Jones'n' here bro.....
  4. Busy at work the last few weeks, I've been lurking/waiting for 1.1.0 to drop since the easer egg Darren dropped prior to Defcon. First loaded up my Nano and gave it a run August 30th. Played around a bit, pulled a 12 mile wardrive and just Recon'd the neighborhood, worked as advertised! Today I updated my Tetra and gave it a spin, WHOA!!!! Noted the new additions and I like the interoperability between the Nano and the Tetra. The Recon from the Tetra was a real eyeopener. Very powerful/sensative!!! I am impressed! Still plugging away at python scripts to use sploitego/Maltego with my Nano. Great work, can't say how much this whole community of users and developers have delivered a great tool for we hobbyists. You have my support and respect, plus some money now and then!
  5. Check the forums for ICS with MAC OSx, a very good treatise was written a few months ago. I also recently viewed a nice update that was in the TETRA thread. The real issue is Port forwarding and several odd settings that OSx locks up by default. Look in the web site"Stackoverflow" for info about Disabling System Integrity so you can make changes in ICS and PF. Just for simplicity and for my work, my Macbook Air is set up to dual boot with Kali Linux2.0 and that solves the problem entirely. If I really need to run OSx and need my pineapple I us VMware or even VMbox depending on the other applications I'm rolling.
  6. Seems similar to the functionality from Kismet to me.... wonder if anyone is working on a module for that?
  7. Darren and all at the Hak5 shop have been awesome as far as the support for both the hardware and the software updates. I'm still feeling no love from the automated shipping update email system though. Checked my spam filters and all that, I did get my notice when the Tetra shipped out, but never received any notice about the delay. Now I've contacted sipping about a second battery since my Tetra shipped with a single unit. Basically I'm trying to make sure I've made contact in the correct manner. I'm certainly blown away with the Nano compared to my old Mk4, can't wait to fire up my Tetra!
  8. Most concise methodology to sort the Mac OSx ICS problem I have ever read. IceFloor, various settings, this that the other thing, I slaughtered a couple of chickens and visited my local VooDoo priestess. STILL NO DICE! Kali 2.0 on Oracle VMbox gets it done for me. But since I've read this......I just might have to try it again. Trix are for kids...right? Thanks for the moment of clarity!
