  1. I have a pineapple nano tactical elite with the additional usb wifi adapter which becomes wlan2 and I use it for client mode to give to pineapple internet access. This works great on my home wifi however I am unable to get internet access when I try and connect to an open wifi hotspot mostly due to that access point having a web portal to accept the conditions or something. How do I go about accepting this so I can get online. When I use just my phone for example I am able to connect to the access point and open a web browser and enter the appropriate details. But how can this be accomplished using the pineapple so I can successfully use client mode?
  2. UPDATE I have finally narrowed it down i think. When using the Tetra on my Desktop running all the latest updates both in Kali and on the pineapple i was able to use all modules except one - DWall. This issue was really troubling me until i bought the "Hak5 Field Kit - Pocket Guide: Essentials Of Operation" from the Hak5Shop. In it it said clearing your browsers cache can remove some of the issues. I never thought of this because i never had any issues at all with all my other computers. So i cleared the cache on my desktop and ran the DWall module and it worked. The only problem now is if i want to run that module i have to clear the cache every single time i want to use DWall. Why do i need to do it every time? Is there something i am missing because i really don't want to do this every time?
  3. I have a very curious problem being that DWall will not work on my kali linux desktop. However it works on my two laptops running kali and a live verson of kali booted from usb onto my desktop. But i have installed kali on my desktop and for some reason it will only not work on my desktop even with addons disabled. No idea why because i have the same kali linux on my other machines with no issue. On my desktop when running DWall i get the loading pineapple gif and that's it. In firefox i use the Browser console by going to Tools, Web Developer, Browser Console and i get the following information: Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at ws://172.16.42.1:9999/. jquery.min.js%20line%202%20%3E%20eval:36:20 Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at ws://172.16.42.1:9999/. jquery.min.js%20line%202%20%3E%20eval:36:20 and i see this information repeated over and over. Why can't i get a connection even though i am connected to the Internet and am able to load bulletins, check for updates, download and use modules. I am using the same set up as my laptop and it works but plug the pineapple into my desktop running the same OS and having full internet connectivity i get this error. Could anyone please help with the very very confusing issue?
  4. Hi @sud0nick I tried what you said and at first i still got nothing so i decided to preform another Firmware Recovery and start completely from scratch. I have factory reset the devive many times with the same result which lead me to making the post in the first place. I must have had a corrupted file or something because after a complete firmware restart i was able to do exactly what you said and so far i have no issues. Thanks for all your help i really appreciated it. So glad i am able to use such a great tool, please keep up the great work
  5. Unable to clone websites using Portal Auth 1.4 I have been using Portal Auth for a while on my nano and tetra and had reasonable success with it. But since this recent update i don't know what went wrong. I don't do anything different and i follow the youtube tutorial exactly - including the Starbucks website as an example to test. But every site i try i keep getting errors like the example below: clone_error_14_35_11.txt Exception in thread Thread-21: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python2.7/threading.py", line 810, in __bootstrap_inner self.run() File "/usr/lib/python2.7/threading.py", line 763, in run self.__target(*self.__args, **self.__kwargs) File "/sd/modules/PortalAuth/includes/scripts/PortalCloner.py", line 58, in downloadFile with closing(self.session.get(urlparse.urljoin(self.url, url), stream=True, verify=False)) as r: File "/sd/modules/PortalAuth/includes/scripts/libs/requests/sessions.py", line 473, in get return self.request('GET', url, **kwargs) File "/sd/modules/PortalAuth/includes/scripts/libs/requests/sessions.py", line 461, in request resp = self.send(prep, **send_kwargs) File "/sd/modules/PortalAuth/includes/scripts/libs/requests/sessions.py", line 573, in send r = adapter.send(request, **kwargs) File "/sd/modules/PortalAuth/includes/scripts/libs/requests/adapters.py", line 415, in send raise ConnectionError(err, request=request) ConnectionError: ('Connection aborted.', BadStatusLine("''",)) Traceback (most recent call last): File "/pineapple/modules/PortalAuth/includes/scripts/portalclone.py", line 24, in cloner.cloneResources() File "/sd/modules/PortalAuth/includes/scripts/PortalCloner.py", line 224, in cloneResources fh = open(self.portalDirectory + css_file).read().decode('utf-8', 'ignore') IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/root/portals/cadi-library/resources/css_N3lSPYU_3cCSLBOPiPtwtv2IajQX03IWQTo5LiHk10.css' I have internet access and everything is upto date. I am also getting an error and it say check the error log for details but when i do there is nothing there. I haven't made any changes, just updated from the pineapple module bar so i don't understand why i am having these issues
  6. Hi Seb, Thanks for the feedback. I am familiar somewhat with how DWall works and have used the tool many times with great results. But my issue was for some reason it was working when i booted my pineapple up and it got stuck on the animated loading pineapple gif and would stick there indefinitely despite not changing anything at all and would still persit even after several reboots, re-flashes and even a few factory resets and a few firmware recoveries and i narrowed it down to my desktop because every other computer i tried seems to work and i did get some not alot but some images. So why it suddenly wouldn't work on my desktop its a complete mystery.
  7. UPDATE Just quick update, after preforming all the relevent update, upgrades, flashes , reflashes, firmware recovery and (even turning it on and off) it still wouldn't work on my desktop running the latest Kali Linux. However i have had some success (for whatever reason) trying it on my laptop - also running the latest kali linux and everything seems to work and load correctly but i am still not seeing any pictures like i used to. I get the URL's etc but no images
  8. I tried that. I did a factory reset. Firmware Recovery. Uninstalled and ReInstalled DWall and Re-Flashed the pineapple both my nano and tetra. Today i tested my nano and seems to be working kinda at the moment. However the tetra is still not working and i cant get passed the animating pineapple gif when clicking "start listening". On my nano all of a sudden i was able to get passed this and i was able to somewhat use the module. My tetra still seems stuck.
  9. Anyone else suddenly having problems using DWall? It was working before on my nano and tetra. But now nothing I just keep getting the pineapple loading gif and thats it, it just stays like that forever
  10. I have a question about using the sidejacking tools built into kali linux like hamster and ferret in conjunction with the wifi pineapple. This came about because i was using the pineapple module "Dwall" and seeing the cookies pass by. So if i fire up ferret and hamster on my kali machine to pick up the cookies that dwall picks up what is the best interface to use to achieve this? Do i use eth1 with i am using to connect my pineapple to my computer or maybe wlan0 which is my interface connected to the internet? I also have an eth0 interface because i have also have another ethernet cable from pineapple to computer (not really needed just didn't want to lose the cable lol) As you can see i have a few interfaces and i was wondering which one i should use. Hope someone can clear this up for me, thanks
  11. Just curious if its possible to use the Social Engineering Toolkit with the Wifi Pineapple. Here is what i am thinking about but due to my hardware limitations at the moment and my friend who i test this stuff with is on holiday with his family i can not test this legally and i would never break the law so right now i am unable to test this out and i keep thinking about it and the more i think about it the more i want to know if its possible. I have say a Wifi Pineapple Nano or Tetra as it doesn't matter which one and a laptop running Kali Linux with the Social Engineering toolkit installed. I use SET to clone say facebook as an example (before my hardware limitations as was able to use evil portal to do the same thing but i have never tried it this way before). So i have my pineapple plugged in and it is up and running with no errors to my computer running SET with facebook as my example. On the pineapple i run dnsspoof to make sure that anyone connected to my pineapple the tries to go to "facebook" is redirected to my kali machine running my SET server. Now since they are connected to my network via the pineapple when using the dnsspoof module i should only need to spoof the internal IP address of my kali machine which SET is running, right? Is this possible? As i said i can't test this out yet but i am very curious. Thanks guys
  12. Ok that's good, i didn't know if anyone was working on it. I'm glad someone is working on it and it's great to know @Zylla is actually taking the time to make sure it works and not rushing it. It makes for a better module. Can't wait to see the finished product.
  13. Just wondering if there will be a module for sslstrip for the wifi pineapple nano and tetra? There is still one for the mark 5 and that's it.
  14. Same
  15. Yes the mark 4 had a LAN and WAN port and the mark 5 also had a LAN port so to enable a connection to the computer and get an internet connection in order to set everything up. So with me being new to the tetra, which is bigger and more powerful than any of the other pineapples i had previously i had to make sure i was doing it right
