Can't Do this On Mac OS



Boy, no matter what you do all Windows box's and MacOS always looks the same.

It's only with Open Source that you can get Full customizability. tongue.gif

Whats even funnier is that you can install X11 on Mac OS and run conky.

But the somewhat redeeming statement was the Open Source line because X11, conky, BackBox bla bla are all Open Source.

there are closed source shellreplacements, too
for osx and win32
and perhaps make some own themes and plugins

Ya, I guess your right.

I guess the only thing left is... With Linux/*BSD/~Solaris it is easier to customize every little thing because your building it from the ground up anyway. It also help that everything is free so you can just use or try out what ever you want with no risk of wasting money. However, when it comes to the software itself Open Source has MacOS and Windows beat with out a doubt because it's Open of course.
