I've tried searching google and on here for info on this, but haven't come across anything useful. Also, if there is a more appropriate place to ask this, please let me know. As my intention is to use this with my pineapple mk4, I thought it made sense to ask here. I'm trying to find out if there is the equivalent to a burner phone for a 3g dongle. For instance, can I purchase a prepaid phone (tracfone) at a gas station, load it up over the internet using Tor, and stick the sim in a usb dongle? That seems too easy, and I don't see anyone discussing it, so assume this isn't possible. I'm a little nervous to see what the pineapple can accomplish outside of my own home network. There's a lot of creeps out there looking up god-only-knows-what at the coffee shop, and I'm not sure I want them doing that using my registered 3g connection... Am I being paranoid? Honestly I'm a bit new to this whole scene, so maybe this is something that is common knowledge to a lot of people. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it! The 'victim' won't be too affected, as if he is trying to access something in a coffee shop scenario, these things will likely to be blocked. Have ip tables point to a 404 error for this kind of 'bad' traffic. Remember, you are the MITM, you are the ISP. :) Running urlsnarf, you will see what type of sites to block and write a rule for it. RebelCork is correct, I could use iptables to block certain unwanted traffic, but I'm not sure that would be ideal for what I'm hoping to be able to do. The idea here is to be able to leave the pineapple somewhere unattended and pick it up many hours later. While it is planted I would not be monitoring peoples destinations with urlsnarf or similar. Also, once some creeper tries to hit some kiddy porn site, or some psycho tries to look up instructions for making IEDs, it may not matter much if I block it after the initial attempt by the client. That's why I'd rather just not have myself tied to the data in any way. Maybe I'll try to figure out something else.. thanks for the input!
